The summer of 1976 in Ecuador. In the heart of the Andes, 9 year-old Manuela and her 5 year-old younger brother, Camilo, spend their holidays with their cousins on their grandparents farm. Raised in a communist and atheist family and convinced that her parents are taking part in the Revolution in Colombia, the young girl finds herself confronted with beliefs different from her own. She soon learns to find her own path: that of imagination.
