Ernest B. Schoedsack
After working as a cameraman in the French trenches during the First World War, Ernest B. Schoedsack meets Merian C. Cooper. both share a similar taste for adventure and cinema. Together, they make documentaries all around the globe. They turn to fiction with King Kong (1933), a milestone in cinema, mixing technical prowess and a strong subject. Son of Kong, its sequel, received negative reviews. The duo splits, but another film in the line of King Kong reunites them again, with Schoedsack as director and Cooper as producer : Mighty Joe Young (1949).
