Festival Ciné Junior : Édition 2011
Age 6 and above

A programming workshop...
From September to December teacher Matthieu Ludger’s class of 8 and 9 year-olds at the Paul Eluard primary school in Virty-sur-Seine, learnt about and tried their hand at creating a programme of short-films. Claudine Lepallec-Marand, who regularly works with Ciné Junior, supervised this workshop on a weekly basis. The students watched fifteen or so short-films, and went through the same process of deliberation as professional programmers, sharing their opinions with mutual respect in order to elaborate a coherent programme of films. They also wrote the résumés of each film and created the accompanying illustrations.
