Daphne is imprisoned for theft in a young offender institution. There, she falls in love with Josh, a young delinquent. In prison, love is forbidden. The relationship between Josh and Daphne is made only of glances from one cell to the other, conversations through the bars and clandestine letters…

Claudio Giovannesi

Born in Rome in 1978, Claudio Giovannesi studies jazz guitar and graduates from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in 2005. After his first feature film, La Casa sulle nuvole (2009), he focuses on the theme of teenage years and social integration in his documentary Fratelli d’Italia. In 2002, he takes his reflection further with the fiction Ali Blue Eyes and Fiore in 2016, nominated for the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes.
