Rauf, nine, falls in love with a young woman living in his village. Looking to make her happy in a world that, even in full daylight, is slowly losing its colours, he goes on a quest for one colour : pink.
Bariş Kaya graduates in cinema and audio-visual media at the Anadolu University in Eskisehir, Turkey before working in film-producing where he directs TV commercials. He works as assistant director on The Breath by Levent Semerci in 2009. In 2016, he co-directs his first film, Rauf, nominated in Berlin in the Generation section and crowned at several festivals for young audiences.
Following a course in the field of plastic technologies, Soner Caner works in cinema as a set designer, make-up artist and artistic designer. He wins the award for artistic directing at the Altin Koza Film Festival for the film Nefes (Levent Semerci, 2009). Rauf is his first film as a co-director.
