Rabih, a young blind singer from Lebanon, sees his passport request turned down: his identity papers are false. Faced by the silence and the lies of his friends and family, he persists against all to seek some pieces of truth about his birth. It is the beginning of a search for his identity in a country still bearing the scars of war.
Born in 1975 in Kuwait, Vatche Boulghourjian, of Lebanese nationality, directs film orders for TV and self-produced short films: Thabh-ul-azim in 2002, Ali the Iraqi (2008) and Hinkerort zorasune (2010). He then joins the New York University and graduates with a Masters degree in Cinema. His graduation film, The Fifth Column, comes third for the Cinefondation Prize in Cannes in 2010. His first fictional feature film, Rabih, in nominated for the 2016 Semaine de la Critique in Cannes.
