Wardi, an eleven-year-old Palestinian, lives with her family in the Beyrouth refugee camp in which she was born. One day, her great-grandfather gives her the key to his house in Galilee, where he lived before being forced to flee in 1948. Scared that he might give up the hope of returning there one day, she decides to collect facts from her family, from one generation to the next. Animated in 3D and drawing, this film intelligently and tenderly recounts the daily life of a family in a context where hopes, dreams and battles stand alongside.
