Bart is learning to play the piano with Dr. Terwilliker who orders him to play scales, scales and more scales. One day, Bart falls asleep and finds himself in a phantasmagorical city ruled by the frightening Dr. T in full preparation of a very peculiar concert…

Roy Rowland

Born in 1910 in New York, Rowland studies law at the Los Angeles University before joining the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, a firm in which he spends most of his working life. Starting off as a script boy, he starts directing short films and series before producing his first feature film, A Stranger in Town (1943). He then produces around thirty films, amongst which The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T. (1953), the film noir Rogue Cop (1954), the musicals Meet me in Las Vegas (1956) and the western Gun Glory (1957). He dies in 1995 in California.
